Welcome to the new YouTube for Artists
Welcome to the new YouTube for Artists — we hope you like our new look. If there’s one thing we’ve learned in our years of listening to artist and fans, it’s this: When artists lean into YouTube, good things happen. When established artists like Dua Lipa or Ozuna use our features to engage their fans, everyone wins. The new and improved YouTube for Artists site is just the latest in a series of improvements we’ve made to YouTube to help artists engage and grow their fanbase.
One of our most exciting recent launches is Official Artist Channels. These new channels collect all of an artist’s work in a single destination and can be set up and personalized in minutes.
We also launched Live, which lets artists bring fans into their everyday lives. With just a tap, an artist can turn their camera on and open up their world, whether by chronicling everyday moments, making major announcements, or livestreaming a soundcheck.
When it comes to getting fans out to see an artist in person, we’ve got that covered with Ticketing. Thanks to a partnership with Ticketmaster, fans won’t miss out on any live performance.
And last but certainly not least, our new Community feature helps artists get closer than ever before to their fans. Think of it as a message board focused on a single artist, where creators and fans engage through posts, polls, and pointers to videos.
Superstar Shawn Mendes put the spotlight on his Portuguese heritage when he released the official song for Portugal's World Cup team — and received more than 56,000 likes from his fans. With Community, the options to engage your fans are endless, and they’re all in one place.
“There’s so many things I want to share with my fans” says Mendes. “I’m always looking for ways to connect with them, through my music and in other ways, which is why the World Cup project was so exciting to me.”
These new features are only the beginning, as we continue to make YouTube a unique, indispensable platform for emerging and established artists alike. Keep coming back to YouTube for Artists to learn all about these and other improvements. You can also always reach out to us with any questions simply by emailing artist-support@youtube.com.
